this weeks challenge  from Karin Jurick’s blog:                                                   different strokes from different folks , was a photo from a rower in lake Michigan for us to paint . everyone can participate to send in an interpretation from the photo she posted… now over 100 artists from around the world are taking part!- i painted this last night- today i did a small oil pastel sketch…

Die dieswoechige Aufgabe from Karin Jurick’s blog:                                different strokes from different folks, war ein photo von einem Ruderer auf dem Michigan See fuer uns zum nachmalen. Jeder kann mitmachen und die gemalte Interpretation des vorgegebenen Fotos einsenden… inzwischen machen ueber 100 versch. Kuenstler weltweit mit! ich habe das bild gestern gemalt, heute habe ich mit oelkreide gezeichnet…

great news

just yesterday i got accepted to have my first ‘one man show’ at the Gillmor’s coach house gallery in St. George. i am thrilled, i prayed over it and god is so generous to provide me with this opportunity-thank you Lord!

the show will be on display from July 1-25th 2009.

how great is this?

as it is almost midnight now i thought of  sharing with you this little w/c

i painted as part of this weeks ‘different strokes from different folks blog’  challenge.

over 100 painters of different mediums, styles and backgrounds send in their interpretations of the week’s photo provided.

this week is was a beach scene. here my outcome;-) just finished about 10 min ago.
